Tracksuit are bringing brand to the boardroom. Tracksuit is one of the fastest growing NZ SaaS success stories, with the great team there closing a $22m Series A in February, 2024.

Design
Phoebe leads design for N+I, building distinctive identities for N+I’s ventures. She is a Partner at Previously Unavailable, and leads a highly creative team of designers on a range of start-up and scale-up projects – such as Ārepa, Bustle, Taxi, Ideally, Extraordinary, Education Perfect, Andfoods, Tracksuit and many more. Prior to joining Previously Unavailable, Phoebe launched her career at Red Antler in NYC and went on to work at leading design company Alt Group in NZ.

Strategy
James is the founding partner of Previously Unavailable and a co-founder of several high-profile New Zealand startups including Tracksuit and AF Drinks. He’s one of the world’s better-known experts on marketing and advertising effectiveness. He’s the author of two books on the subject – The Case for Creativity and Future Demand – which bring together evidence-based research to help organisations better plan brand, marketing and advertising strategy. James is also the programme director of the Master of Advertising Effectiveness, a global online professional development programme for marketing and advertising people.

COO
Hannah is COO for N+I, working to streamline our studio’s strategies and processes for maximum efficiency and innovation. Prior to New + Improved, Hannah was CEO and founder of her own technology start up in the donation tax space, which built on her previous 15 years’ experience as a technology lawyer both in New Zealand and the UK.

Connon has extensive experience developing disruptive businesses and technologies and has worked across New Zealand, the United Kingdom and North America. He is an expert in understanding problem spaces, conceptualising product solutions and enrolling clients, teams and investors to help get early-stage companies off the ground.

Chris focuses on two key parts of the New+Improved process: 1. early problem discovery and solution prototyping, and 2. venture build, customer-acquisition and validation. As a self-confessed Venture-Studio evangelist, he’s also passionate about shaping the commercial model and capital strategy for New+Improved. Chris has 20+ years of international experience in engineering R&D, management consulting, M&A, innovation consulting and venture building. His role combines the technical, human, operational and commercial threads required to find, create and scale successful ventures. He supported the group’s early ventures, including Ideally, where he was hands-on and on the board from inception through to their $100m Series A.

Ashish is a Full-Stack Developer at New+Improved with a strong track record in building impactful applications.
